Ainsley graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015. During the program, she was the recipient of the Sally Purden Memorial Award for Neuroscience as well as the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association Prize for her involvement in the physical therapy profession. Prior to her Master’s degree, Ainsley graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Physiology (2012) while competing as an NCAA Div.1 diver for the Arizona Wildcats.
Clinically, Ainsley worked at Craven Sport Services for three and a half years gaining experience in sports rehabilitation, orthopaedics, and working across the lifespan. She also worked closely with diving, swimming and synchronized swimming teams. Ainsley’s interests lie in sports physiotherapy, functional movement anlaysis, orthopaedic rehabilitation, strength training and concussion management. She has attained her Biomedical Dry Needling certification, orthopaedic level 2 certifications and K-Taping Professional. She is also certified as a Sports First Responder and has experience working with football, rugby, wrestling and other sporting events. She is excited to build her physical therapy education with goals of attaining her orthopaedic levels, sport physiotherapy diploma and acupuncture certification.
Ainsley remains an active member of the diving community as a national and international judge. Her background and interests include yoga, pilates, volleyball, soccer, and strength training.
